Kakuma Refugee Camp, one of the refugee camps in Kenya hosting South Sudanese who fled from war-torn South Sudan. Hosting, many refugees from different nationalities, the scholarship opportunities available for kids who performed exceptionally in their primary school education are very limited, and therefore some of the brightest kids but very underprivileged financially, end up not attending good high schools that provide quality education, therefore, their potentials go unutilized. Motivated by this, I Stretch My Hand was formed with an aim to give an opportunity to these brilliant but financially unstable South Sudanese refugee kids by providing them high school scholarships for their entire 4-year in some of the best high schools that provide quality education in Kenya.
Talent and opportunity go hand in hand, without the other, a real potential goes untapped.
